dc.description.abstract This study was conducted in a descriptive and relationship-seeking manner in order to examine the relationship between perceived stress levels, bio-psycho social status and coping behaviors of stressed students in the nursing department. The research was carried out at Mus Alparslan University between September 2016 and November 2016. All the students (N=246) who were not selected as sample in the survey were asked to work, but the study was completed with 206 students who accepted to collaborate. The research was carried out between October 2016 and December 2016 at Muş Alparslan University in Mus province of Eastern Anatolia, Turkey. In the dataset "Sociodemographic Characteristics of Students", "Perceived Stress, Biological-Psycho-Social Response and Stress-Coping Behaviors Scales for Nursing Students" were used. After the approval of the ethics committee for the research and the permission of the institution, explanations were made for the students and data were collected on the basis of volunteerism. In the evaluation of the data, frequency and percentage calculations, distribution of data, t test in independent groups, Mann- Whitney U, Kruskal Wallis H, spearman correlation analysis and one way anova were used. As a result of the evaluation of the research data, it was determined that the average score of perceived stress scale, bio-psycho-social response, and coping behaviours of stress scales is below the scale point average. The difference perceived stress scale, bio-psychosocial response, and coping behaviours of stress scales between the mother's educational status, the attitudes of the parents, and their perception of problem solver were found to be statistically significant (P<0.05).There was a significant positive correlation between perceived stress scale, and bio-psycho-social response (p <0.05). en_US
